Heterostone
The Heterostone, is a project commissioned by the Museo Tamayo which takes up the criticism made by the artist towards the use of stones as a representative material of a sector of heterosexual artists. Through the archetype of “the mean girl” the artist creates realistic wax sculptures with the leading cast of the film Mean Girls (2004), who share their thoughts while looking at a miniature replica of the stone which exists inside the diorama itself. In the vignette, Regina George, the antagonist of the story, closes the dialogue with a quote from the 10th century Japanese poet Sei Shonagon, which reads: “A man without any special charm discusses all sorts of random topics, such as if he knew everything. "

Heteropiedra
La Heteropiedra, es un proyecto comisionado por el Museo Tamayo, que retoma la crítica que el artista hace hacia el uso de lapiedra como un material representativo de un sector de los artistas heterosexuales. A través del arquetipo de “la chica criticona” el artista crea esculturas hiperrealistas en cera con el elenco protagónico dela película Chicas Pesadas (2004) quienes dialogan sobre el material, al mismo tiempo que miran una réplica en miniatura dela piedra en la que el propio diorama existe. En la viñeta, ReginaGeorge, la antagonista de la historia, cierra el diálogo con una cita de la poeta japonesa del siglo X, Sei Shonagon, que dice: “Un hombre sin ningún encanto especial discute sobre toda suerte de temas al azar, como si lo supiera todo.”
